Anne Lunde, Class
of 1969
Anne is a valuable asset to the community as well as to Taft High School. Her many pursuits and positions include: editor of EdisonNorwood Times Review, Edgebrook Times Review, and Rosemont Times Review newspapers of the Chicago Suburban Times Newspapers; past president of Edison Park Chamber of Commerce; historian for the Norwood Park Historical Society; member of NPHS Museum Committee at Noble-Seymour-Crippen House; delegate to Northeastern Illinois Historical Council; author of several hundred articles on Northwest Chicago community history including the “Community Roots” series in Times Reviews (1985—87); secretary, Norwood Park Centennial Committee (1973-74); member of the Norwood Park Bicentennial Committee.
In addition, Anne is active in many Northwest side organizations, including the Taft Alumni Association where she has served as historical advisor for Taft Bicentennial celebration, past vice-president and currently serves and TAA historian.
